Founded in 1993, James Reeb Unitarian Universalist Congregation has about one hundred thirty-eight members. One of our greatest gifts is our ability to accept and welcome people for who they are. We are a welcoming congregation that reflects the many kinds of family constellations that choose to make JRUUC their spiritual home.  In September of 2004 we welcomed our settled minister, Rev. Darrel L. Richey into our community. We remodeled our space in 2009, bringing in natural light and enlarging our Sanctuary, lobby and kitchen. We invite you to check us out!

Summer WomanSpirit Retreat, Aug. 6-8

JRUUC Bookclub, Sat. Aug. 21, place and time TBD

We will discuss Laura Rider's Masterpiece by Jane Hamilton.  We will also pick the books for the upcoming year!  The meeting will last a little longer and we will bring picnic food to share.  If you are interested in joining, contact Martha Crawford.

Pride Parade 2010!  Sun., Aug. 22

Parade begins at 1 pm with line up starting around 11:30 - 12:30.  We will join with other local UUs to Stand on the Side of Love.  More details to come.

Gathering of the Waters, Sunday Sept. 12, 10 am

It is a UU tradition to gather a little water from whereever we roam over the summer, whether far away or real near by.   This is our Water Communion service (Ingathering).

UW Leadership Institute 2010-2011

The Office of Equity and Diversity Learning Community is offering another Leadership Institute (LI).  This is a 9-month initiative where participants engage weekly in a sustained dialogue, usually on Thursdays.  Rev Chris, , has more details!
